Rohde & Schwarz Topex is the Rohde & Schwarz Center of Competence for developing and implementing Voice Communication Systems (VCS) dedicated to Air Traffic Control, Air Force Operations, Railway and other Safety Critical infrastructures. We offer to our customers worldwide state of the art turnkey VCS solutions which are integrating in-house developed software and hardware with COTS server and switching platforms. For our R&D department, we are looking for a seasoned technology expert who acts as a responsible product owner, ensuring technology excellence and synergies across solutions.
Your tasks
- Ensure all products meet data sheet specifications and maintain conformity throughout their lifecycle maintaining the validation of solutions in terms of feasibility, performance, interoperability with other products and compatibility with the existing infrastructure.
- Manage the requirements and feature/release baselining for products, in collaboration with the Project Lead R&D.
- Participate in definition of technical architecture/modernization of the product and drafting research & development proposals.
- Manage material data and obsolescence in SAP, ensuring long-term product availability and compliance and align with the Quality and Production Departments.
- Coordinate activities along the entire product lifecycle – from planning, design, and development to testing, technical launch and maintenance – ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Act as a key interface to Product Managers, ensuring technical feasibility and market alignment.
- Facilitate and moderate conflict resolution across R&D, product management, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare service-related aspects for products, including spare parts planning, repair processes, and documentation.
- Drive product information management, ensuring technical data is accurate and up to date across all platforms.
