Information Technology : Inhouse SCM Expert / Consultant

Your tasks

• As an SAP consultant, you will provide consulting and support for our Business Process Owner in the SCM area (SAP-PP/MM/MDM) and advise the business departments on all IT matters based on the defined target architecture.
• You will strengthen the SAPSCM team for our international SAP S/4HANA transformation project.
• You will conceive, design and implement business solutions in the area of SCM considering our governance model.
• You carry out the customization of the application, the functional tests, plus support with integration tests or user acceptance tests. The creation of IT concepts as input for our development team is also part of your task.
• You advise and support the selection of suitable applications.
• Together with your colleagues, you will provide holistic support for our SAP logistics applications, add-ons and interfaces to subsystems (including technical 2nd Level support)
• You will work closely with our internal colleagues in an international environment.

Your qualifications

• Engineering degree in computer science/IT from reputed College or University
• Master's in business administration will be added advantage
• Comprehensive SAP consulting experience in conception and implementation of business processes in the SAP production & logistics environment, with a focus on SCM area.
• Experience in S/4 appreciated
• You have in-depth SAP knowledge in the area of production / production planning, cross-module integration knowledge in the area of logistics (WM), as well as the underlying master data.
• You also have practical experience in the conception and implementation of business processes in SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• You have worked several years outside of India for international companies.
• You also have experience in introducing new processes or systems.
• You are a team player with a cross-functional and process-oriented mindset, as well as strong analytical skills combined with assertiveness.
• You are characterized by a strong customer and service orientation, coupled with diplomatic, skills.
• A confident demeanor, an independent way of working and strong communication skills are among your strengths.
• Very good written and spoken English skills complete your profile. Knowledge in German would be a benefit.
