These features will not only improve emergency caller location, but also support upcoming LBS-related use cases in challenging indoor and outdoor environments with both, satellite based and terrestrial technologies. At MWC Barcelona 2022 Rohde & Schwarz is showcasing its range of automotive 5G and C-V2X test solutions for development in the lab and verification in the field to ensure the performance and reliability of critical automotive communications. Further focus applications are UWB test solutions for R&D, certification and production as well as flexible GNSS simulation provided by Rohde & Schwarz.

This document provides the technical specifictions of the GNSS and avionics simulation for Rohde & Schwarz signal generators.

The solution consists of the SMBV100B GNSS simulator emulating the satellite constellation, the RTM oscilloscope to analyze the 1 pulse per second timing and the NGC power supply to perform standard-compliant power on/off steps.
