Your tasks

  • In this role you will drive the development and technical definition of RF geolocation solutions for government and defence customers, working closely with systems, RF, constellation planning and software engineering teams
  • You act as a technical authority for space-based SIGINT and emitter geolocation solutions and support the evolution of the RFGL product portfolio
  • You design end-to-end RF geolocation system concepts based on TDOA, FDOA and AOA methods, including space, ground and data processing segments
  • You translate mission-level requirements into technical system architectures, performance budgets and delivery concepts
  • You perform feasibility studies, system-level trade-offs and performance assessments to evaluate mission scenarios
  • You act as a technical interface between RF operations, constellation planning, software, payload and ground-segment teams to ensure consistent implementation
  • You identify technical gaps and contribute to technology roadmaps and portfolio strategy

Your qualifications

  • Technical university degree in communications engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, physics, computer science or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in RF systems engineering, SIGINT, satellite ISR or complex space-based ystem development
  • Strong technical understanding of RF spectrum operations as well as TDOA, FDOA and AOA geolocation techniques
  • Proven experience in defining end-to-end system architectures and translating operational needs into technical solutions
  • Solid knowledge of satellite payloads, tasking processes, constellation operations and ground-segment data pipelines
  • Excellent communication, presentation and technical writing skills enabling interaction with interdisciplinary stakeholders
  • Can-do mentality and ability to work autonomously in international and intercultural environments
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German
