Exciting Opportunity for a Jr. Project Manager – Drive Success Across Diverse Projects!
Rohde & Schwarz is looking for a dynamic, technical Jr. Project Manager to join our Program Management team at our Coppell, TX office. This role offers the perfect balance of leadership and technical expertise, where you’ll support the sales, planning, and execution phases for a variety of system engineering projects. You’ll be at the forefront of driving project success, interfacing with key departments across the USA and our global organizations.
Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Programs, you’ll have the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of both commercial and government customer projects, showcasing your ability to support multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. With your solid project management skills, exceptional organization, adaptability, leadership and attention to detail, you’ll help propel projects forward while maintaining strong relationships with both external customers and internal stakeholders.
Ideal candidates will bring strong project management experience along with the ability to navigate high level technical engineering details through the Sales, System Engineering, and Project Execution processes. A PMP certification is highly preferred. Although the position is remote, we’re seeking candidates within a commutable distance to the Coppell, TX office for periodic in-person meetings. US citizenship is required for this position.

Your tasks
- Project Management Execution – Lead the planning and execution of System Engineering Integration projects to meet customer’s and internal stakeholders’ expectations
- Act as the primary customer interface for the project execution, including leading customer kickoff meetings, coordinating design reviews, project installation and training
- Work collaboratively with teams of sales, system architecture and engineering, design, mechanical engineering, production, order management, procurement and contracts
- Develop, execute and track project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, communication plans, etc.
- Act as the lead for customer issue resolution during execution phases of projects
- Prepare Statements of Work, Risk Analysis, SOW Task Estimates
