The Rohde & Schwarz Texas Production and Integration Center produces custom-integrated RF systems as well as products for various government programs. We deliver turnkey RF solutions to various customers ranging from the commercial market to the aerospace and defense sectors. Our systems are integrated into a wide variety of solutions including EMC anechoic test chambers, vehicles, and ranges. We are seeking a highly reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate II to join our growing Operations team. The Warehouse Associate II is a key contributor responsible for the accurate and efficient picking of inventory items based on production job travelers (pick lists) and meticulous transaction of those items within our SAP system. This mid-level role requires a demonstrated commitment to accuracy, proficiency in warehouse operations, and the ability to contribute to team training and inventory control efforts. The Warehouse Associate II will also operate a stand-up forklift and maintain a safe working environment.

Your tasks

  • Inventory Picking & Fulfillment: Accurately pull inventory items (raw materials, components, etc.) from designated warehouse locations according to production job travelers (pick lists).
  • SAP Transaction Expertise: Perform all required transactions in SAP to accurately record the movement of inventory, including issuing materials to production orders, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Quality Control & Accuracy: Ensure picked items precisely match the job traveler specifications; proactively identify and report any discrepancies. Maintain a consistently high level of accuracy.
  • Cycle Counting & Inventory Support: Actively participate in regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits, assisting with investigation and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a stand-up forklift to move and locate inventory within the warehouse.
  • New Employee Training: Assist in the onboarding and training of new warehouse associates, sharing best practices and ensuring understanding of procedures.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, reporting any safety hazards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Adherence to Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Your qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, with demonstrated proficiency in inventory picking, material handling, and SAP transactions.
  • Certified to operate a stand-up forklift or ability to demonstrate proficiency and obtain certification (company provided training available).
  • Proven track record of maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP inventory management modules.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse best practices and inventory control principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor others.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move materials throughout the workday.
  • In order to be considered, U.S. Citizenship or permanent work authorization is required. Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.

The total compensation for this position is $20-$27/hour. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
