In the last decade, satellite communications projects have emerged that use non-geostationary satellite orbits (non-GSO) making access to the shared radio frequency spectrum even more important.
A typical approach for measuring differential signals is to use two cables and perform a math on the two input channels in post-processing. For most oscilloscopes this creates a problem not being able to trigger on this math signal.
