Rohde & Schwarz has entered an agreement with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, for the use of their Interface Control Document for 5G as an authorized licensee to develop test equipment based on Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X55 5G Modem-RF System.

Parallel measurements on the two independent signal generators and analyzers as well as fast sequential measurements using the switch matrix provide high measurement speed. The R&S®PVT360A provides measurement capabilities to test the physical layer of base stations and small cells.

Using the patented technology of correlating the ground-based receptions with the ground-based transmissions, the system provides non-intrusive analyses of the entire communication chain.
