The R&S®SGS100A is an RF source designed to meet the requirements of automated test systems. It is available as a continuous wave (CW) source or as a vector signal generator with an integrated I/Q modulator. With its frequency range of up to 12.75 GHz, the vector signal generator version covers the essential digital signals. The CW version can be used as a flexible local oscillator as well as for interference testing against mobile radio standards. The R&S®SGU100A upconverter extends the frequency range to 40 GHz.

Rohde & Schwarz will present its new R&S TSEMF-B2E isotropic antenna for the TS-EMF measurement system at the EMV trade show in Stuttgart. This new antenna covers the frequency range from 700 MHz to 8 GHz and allows simple and precise evaluation of emissions on site – even for new radio services. The Malaysian regulator has awarded Rohde & Schwarz a contract for a nationwide system of fixed spectrum monitoring stations that can be remote controlled at one national and five regional headquarters. Rohde & Schwarz will supply numerous monitoring stations to replace existing systems and establish new stations. Rohde & Schwarz and Decawave demonstrate test functions for the new generation of Decawave UWB devices with the new generation of Rohde & Schwarz radio communication tester, the R&S CMP200. With this solution, both companies address manufacturers planning wireless devices using Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology to provide secure location-based services.

All wireless devices must be tested for radiated spurious emissions (RSE) to verify compliance with national and international standards such as ITU, ETSI and FCC. The configuration required is similar to an EMI measurement setup, with the additional challenging task of measuring the low level spurious emissions in presence of the carrier frequency of a wireless device. The R&S®TS8996 RSE test system handles these tasks with a single setup and covers all relevant carrier frequencies and bandwidths used in wireless communications.

Rohde & Schwarz is delivering and implementing its full IP voice communication system, CERTIUM VCS, to the international airports in Skopje and Ohrid in the Republic of North Macedonia.
